Our products are required to meet a set of specific criteria: durability of the materials used, design flexibility, and, importantly, certification compliance with stringent ballistic standards.
Arbor Armour holds PEFC-certification, reflecting our commitment to sustainable forestry. We also carefully evaluate how and where our partners manufacture their products, ensuring they adhere to recognized sustainability standards. Annually, we engage in dialogue with our partners to align on values and expectations regarding product and process sustainability.
All our products have undergone extensive pre-testing in collaboration with the Dutch National Police before being officially tested and certified by the experts at the Ballistics Center of the Royal Military Academy in Brussels.
Furthermore, even after security upgrades, we prioritize preserving the distinctive architectural details of (historic) buildings. Design freedom and maintaining unique features are essential because feeling safe is also about feeling at home. A building or residence should never feel like a fortress due to intrusive additions on facades or interiors.
All our products have been tested and certified by the Ballistics Center of the Royal Military Academy in Brussels.
Arbor Armour Doors
We have doors certified according to resistance class FB4, FB5 and FB6 in accordance with EN 1522:1998 and EN 1523:1998.
All door systems can be fitted with certified ballistic glazing that complies with the same protection level as the door leaf, in accordance with applicable EN standards.
Optional features such as solar control coatings and high-performance thermal insulation can be incorporated to meet project-specific requirements.
Our product portfolio also includes certified door frames and a ballistically certified threshold. The frame corner joints are reinforced with the proprietary Arbor Armour PanzerJoint®, a specially engineered connection designed to withstand high-level ballistic certification requirements.
Arbor Armour Walls
Our internal wall solutions are certified to ballistic resistance levels FB4 and FB5. The wall panels are interlinked with ballistic-grade connections during installation and are custom-manufactured and finished to meet the specific requirements of your project.
At both FB4 and FB5 levels, we also offer acoustic wall systems featuring contemporary design finishes and panels made with recycled felt produced in Europe.
Arbor Armour Fixed Windows
Our product portfolio also includes high-end glazing solutions with timber frame surrounds. These façade and internal wall systems are certified to ballistic resistance levels FB5 and FB6. Internal solutions at FB4 level are also available upon request.
Premium Wood Finishing and Coating | All our products can be finished with high-quality veneer made from European wood species. If a wood finish is not desired, our products can be multilayer-coated using premium-grade coatings to meet your project-specific requirements.
Burglary Prevention and Fire Resistance | The bullet-resistant products mentioned here are delivered and installed exactly according to specifications. Naturally, we can also meet requirements related to burglary prevention and fire resistance.
